Circa Sept 2016 – Why are they dancing instead of Karaoke – ing? I’ll tell you in a moment.

Big time enthusiasm drove into the Wonder Valley Ranch Resort in the form of 4 busses; busses filled with single men & women looking for a soul mate. I saw horses & rivers and believe it was a 4 day vacation type of singles getaway. Gathered from all over California and a few out of state participants.

There was all day activities that allowed for the singles to meet as many other people as possible. Kind of like a speed dating party. This picture was taken during the last night of the resort organized by the Ivy Connect. It’s a vetted app type of singles connection. So, the dance/karaoke dj party was only given 90 minutes. Short, I know.

There was free drinks like domestic bottled beer, rum & coke and a few assorted mixed drinks. It didn’t take long for the karaoke sign ups. However, due to time constraints we had to call an audible on songs picked for singing because too many guests wanted to dance so, we had to only let the guests sing who had a song that was a party song.

This picture was when the Dj played “Low” by Flo Rida. One of the karaoke guest knew the lyrics so he asked for a microphone and performed without the lyrics. Some guests were disappointed they couldn’t sing the song they wanted because it did not fit the vibe but it better served the party to keep the vibe, well, vibing! #karaokedj #djservices #partydj #wondervalleyranchresort #ivyconnect
