Professionals helping Professionals – Wedding Dj Industry

Circa Nov 2015 – Leslie & Stu – What is a “White Label” in the wedding industry? I’ll tell you in a moment. Here is in this picture you see a perfect dusk atmosphere just before the bride and groom take their vows. What is perfect? Well, with outdoor weddings and no matter what month these days, you never know when it will rain. Sometimes a wedding dj has to set up and it starts sprinkling or he is directly in the 110 degree heat only to have his laptop shutdown 2 minutes before start of the ceremony. In this case it was November and it never got cold even at 11pm. November can be like that where it dangles on the segues into cold without the cold. huh? Exactly! So, I never truly never, ever saw a couple look at each other like these two did. I’m pretty sure she was about 8-10 years older but looked twice as young. If I remember her Greek family members flew all the way from the other side of the world just to meet this man and see her so happy. A Greek band nearly had the guest empty half of the available libations and played for the cocktail & dinner hour. I played the ceremony music and mic’d up the wedding officiant and groom. Her family elders were well taken care of in terms of music so when it came time for the fast dancing portion of the reception, “the roof blew off the mutha!” All the foreign guests danced every American song like it was the last day on Earth.
