Circa 2016 – Wedding Reception – The Cupid Shuffle moment in time. We played lots of Latin Dance songs and Latin Dinner & Cocktail hour music too. Once the libations kicked in, the guests were quick to respond to traditional party favorites like Bust A Move, September and Suavemente. It was Good times and what perfect weather we had for this outdoor wedding reception. The Best Man toast and speeches were mic’d but the ambience acoustics bounced off the wooden fences and backyard of this beautiful home. It was a real treat to see such ethnic music for the cocktail hour and dinner hour. It increased the party atmosphere Big Time. Imagine listening to beautiful Latin songs from South America and having those exact songs requested by the Groom, to resonate throughout the playlist perfect for the cocktail hour and dinner hour? The Groom really new something about setting the stage. Maybe even how the reception is basically a Beginning, Middle and the End. The End includes having a packed dance floor. The Groom asked that I do what I want for the party dancing selections. The rest is history!
