Circa Nov (late) 2023 – Kia Holiday at the Forum – What are they singing? I’ll tell you in a moment.

For our karaoke dj services, we were told there was up to 30k invited but about 8k in attendance for a family & community event made possible by the Car Manufacturer Kia. There were many tent/booths with free giveaways, a live band performing on the other side of the event, free food, face painting, snow machines and much more!

The parents were very pleased to find out it was all free. The bonus was their kids performing karaoke with us on stage. As you can see in the pic, parents with their cell phones capturing the moment that will be lived, posted and revisited for the rest of their lives.

Ok, now let’s get back to the food: FREE TAMALES! Yes, one of the parents was kind enough to give us the scoop on the vendors handing out free food. When it was time for a food break for us, I sent our MC “Eryn” and she made a B-Line for the nearest Tamale vendor. Mission accomplished as the karaoke sign ups increased shortly after.

We had a chance to play the popular tunes for families to listen to while they sit in the chairs to either to take the moment in or eat food. The LA Clippers are a professional basketball team that provided the junior cheerleading squad. They helped us in the beginning by singing some karaoke too! The kids loved it.
