It’s a nationwide company that flew in there top achievers for a training. Little did they know that after an 3 day intensive training they were going to be given a party filled with appetizers and drinks on the house. People like being rewarded but most importantly, owners like seeing bigger profits and success upon success. I happened to hear some of the training when I was setting up the karaoke dj package and it sounded like the company was clearly not only blowing out the competition but also recently bought a adjacent competitor. So, now on to this party. Certain guests were enjoying the libations when they decided to take over the party and mc the karaoke sign ups. We didn’t mind but we kept an eye on the flow and it all worked out. This Historic building was rockin! Of course the final two songs were Don’t Stop Believin and Bohemian Rhapsody. With every hit 80s and 90s karaoke song literally being shouted one could say the microphones were not needed. The management informed us hotel guests were complaining who were trying to go to sleep. At this time, we were in our first hour of overtime which was paid by one of the guests. Yes, a guest paid for the hour overtime. The Hotel management declined to let the party continue.
