Circa Aug 2016 – Why does the bride have her back towards the wedding Dj? Is she mad? I’ll tell you in a moment.

This started off as a Hot, very HOT August morning in Azusa, California. The venue location was a wedding chapel called and known as the Historic Lindley-Scott House.

However, just as we arrived to set up the dj entertainment in the reception, some cool breezes came flowing in on the property. It’s a great place for brides to hide, get ready and soak in the day with spacious rooms dedicated for the bridesmaids and other women in the bridal party to get ready. Most importantly, have a place to leave their belongings throughout the duration of the event.

We gave the bride a discount of the ceremony services due to a second sound system was not necessary. What I mean is that where the main dj equipment was located it was within 50 feet of the ceremony and we still had a ‘line of sight’ for the hand signals of the wedding coordinator. However, just to be extra careful, we rented an extra and more powerful microphone for the officiant which is what you see in this picture (see box transmitter tilted on its side).

There was no karaoke for this wedding and we had not implemented the photo booth into our services back in 2016. Our wedding dj services packages did come with up-lighting fixtures to paint the walls, MC hosting, online planning forms and party interaction. What you see here is the circle of the dance off.
