Circa 2016: Must See; Single Men voluntarily skip the opening day of NFL Football to hopefully fall in love, hook up or strike out. This was a ‘Singles Retreat’. I remember it well as several busloads of single men and women left locations from as far as San Francisco and San Diego. It was a package deal with horse back ridings, all meals, interactive meet and greets and a speed date game show and of course a karaoke Dj & dance party. So, they arrive at a camp site but with real dorm rooms to accommodate all 500 singles. In this pic is Saturday, the night before the NFL Football Season begins in September. It’s traditional mindset for football fans. It’s exciting! There are preparations with friends, co-workers and family. It’s a big deal to coordinate with who you spend this special yearly moment with for 4 hours. It sets the tone for the rest of the year which overlaps Thanksgiving & Christmas both intertwined with live games during those dates. AMERICA! BUT, now love calls. Hopefully, true love was found.
