Greek Music, Libations and a Party Dj Wedding Reception
Circa 2015 – what is so special about this pic? Well, I’ll tell you in a moment. First let me explain this picture. There was a 3 piece Greek band that played all the music for the reception cocktail hour and dinner hour. When it was time to sizzle the dance floor, the older folks who flew to this event from the other side of the world, well, they went into party mode with the traditional American Format of party music. The family of foreigners boogied down on the dance floor at the very first song we played from ‘American Party’ time perspective. First we had EVERBODY come out to the dance floor for a “Group Photo” you know ‘Wink Wink”. What I mean is the Group Picture was a set up. You see, I coordinate with the Venue to follow my cue so that when the photographer takes the last shot, of the group photo, then the venue kills the lights, then I turn on my party lighting just I hit the ‘Play” button on a song; in this case it was “September” by Earth, Wind & Fire. Behold, the white lights are off, party lights start and the BASS is booming. The guests have no choice as the Dopamine kicks in from the moment. Libations accelerate the blood flow but mainly from the women. Women LOVE to dance. My stunt with the ‘Group Photo” always works but they’re grateful for it. The elders enjoyed a solid 2 hours of their Homeland Greek Music and now embrace the American wedding reception culture. It’s Art. I love what I do. Mr Dj Services was on hand for the #weddingdj #djservices #partydj #djinla
