Circa 2013 – Sweet 16 Dance Party Time! But, why are the lights on? I’ll tell you in a moment. Held in Santa Monica on a beautiful Saturday evening, the pre adult teens brought their “A Game”. Very polite kids but edgy enough to perform every song the dj and mc threw at them. This photo is actually part 2 of a previous post. This was back when Mr Dj Services did not have karaoke included with our packages. We focused on the MC interaction with precise music programming. This included throwing everything on the dance floor including “the kitchen sink” as the saying goes. This is why our service is a premium offer due to having the years of experience of packing the dancing for from start to finish but, now with karaoke, we don’t have to work as hard. You see a client with guests who come to a party with just a dj versus a party with a dj plus karaoke represents two types of events. A party with karaoke would have more of an extrovert type of guest list versus the other party with no karaoke. It’s 3 times easier to please a crowd the more they participate. Today we offer both the karaoke and dj together. The price is the same price. We set up karaoke equipment anyways and sure enough people sang but sung a party song that kept guests dancing. The party was over by 20 minutes but the kids kept dancing. Hotel Staff turned of lights.
