Circa Dec 2019 – Do you know the lyrics? The Song & Artist? I’ll tell you in a moment. We teamed up with a professional Audio/Visual company for the Holiday end-of-year party. Just check out the super clean lyric displays. We do bring our own and but theirs dwarfed ours so we just stuck with theirs. Turns out this company also controls the overhead sound as they are what’s known as the “in house” audio/visual company. I’ve made a previous post about this party and mentioned how high end hotels found that it’s easier to maintain a 5 star reputation if you outsource the audio & visual element of the banquet room rentals and reservations. Imagine you are a hotel, $500 a night rooms and you have a major seminar/training for your 300 employees and the technical issues mount up due to the inexperienced hotel staff that occasionally work a sound board; P.A. system. In the old days hotels would randomly put a hotel worker on the P.A. system duties and let them figure it our. Bad idea. So, now you have 3rd party vendors who basically move in and perform a wholesale rate of audio/visual duties for all the banquet rooms to include wedding, Bar-Mitzahs, anniversaries etc. However, clients who want to book the room do not have to use the in house AV.
