Circa 2018 Dec 31 or Jan 1? – What kind of New Year’s Eve party is this? Which is it, the 31st or 1st? I’ll tell you in a moment. This event took place at the Marriott in Marina Del Rey. About 150 plus guests dressed up for the dance party and superb appetizers followed by dinner. The invite was for ceremonial belly dance routine and rooftop music schedule for 5pm – ish (you know how fashionably late people can be) So, after the ceremonial dancing then an actual ceremony; as in a wedding ceremony. Two lovebirds decided to get married on NYE and made sure that there was a beautiful sunset at the end of the ceremony and of course a fairy tale midnight countdown into the New Year as well. In this pic you can see the dancing and electricity but what you don’t see if the intake of libations. It was insanely entertaining to watch the chug but not get drunk or worst yet, puking drunk. It’s like a part of India I have never seen. This one of the few times I’ve seen drinkers from India. The family had a great time for both the special occasion and it being New Year’s Eve.
